  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • ¼ cup flour
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon cracked black pepper

  • 6 tablespoons low sodium soy sauce - or THICK soy sauce if your grocery store carries it
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha - or 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1 tablespoon toasted sesame oil
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon cold water + 1 teaspoon corn starch
  • chopped green onions and sesame seeds - optional garnish
