Fiona’s Quick Fried Rice
Left over rice and whatever’s in the fridge/freezer. Wok and Thermomix

Ingredients
  • 60 to 100g cooked rice (Yesterday’s or spread out to dry after dinner)
  • ½ onion
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1tbs sesame oil
  • 1tbs soy sauce
  • 1 egg
  • 1tsp paprika or chilli powder
  •  
  • Handful of frozen mixed veg(peas/beans/sweet corn)
  • Couple of mushrooms
  • Bell peppers
  • Leftover chicken/bacon/pork
Steps
  1. 1. Heat wok and add sesame oil
  2. 2. Chop onions & garlic in TM sp5/2sec, add to wok
  3. 3. Chop fridge veg in TM sp5/3sec, add to wok
  4. 4. Add frozen veg
  5. 5. Add paprika or chilli powder
  6. 6. Add rice to wok and stir all together to heat through. Make a well in the middle (for the egg)
  7. 7. Mix egg in TM sp5/3sec, add to middle of wok. Keep stirring egg until it scrambles, adding in the rice.
Notes
  • No need to wash TM between steps.
