Servings: Turtle chocolate candy nuts
Ingredients
  • 12 ounces soft caramels (homemade or store-bought)
  • 6 ounces pecans, walnuts,  peanuts or almonds (halves, toasted)
  • 8 ounces chocolate (semi-sweet, chips are Fine)
Steps
  1. 1. Toast nuts
  2. 2. then arrange in clusters on pan 3. melt caramel and spoon over the clusters of pecans.
  3. 4. Allow the caramel and nuts to set. (You can place in fridge to speed up process.)
  4. 5. Melt your chocolate and spoon over the caramel and pecans or dip the caramel pecans in the chocolate.
  5. 6. Place pan/tray of turtles you just made in the refrigerator to set. Enjoy!
  6. These can be made with white chocolate or butterscotch chips also...
