  • 6 Tbsp cornmeal
  • ½ cup flour
  • 2 Tbsp sugar
  • 1 ½ tsp baking powder
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ⅓ cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 2 Tbsp vegetable oil
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)
