Super Easy Cinnamon Buns
Ingredients
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 Tbsp granulated sugar
  • 4 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ¼ cup cold butter
  • 1 cup cold milk
  •  
  • subheading: Filling mixture:
  • ⅓ cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 3 tsp cinnamon
Steps
  1. Mix all dry ingredients together. Cut in butter so crumbly. Make a well in the centre.
  2. Pour in milk, mix lightly. Turn onto floured surface, knead 8 to 10 times.
  3. Gently roll dough out to about 10" x 14".
  4. Combine the brown sugar and cinnamon to make the filling mixture. Spread the butter on top of the rolled dough. Take filling mixture and put 1 tsp in muffin tin bottom. Spread remaining mix on dough. Roll into a jelly roll and cut into 12 discs. Place in muffin tins.
  5. Bake in a conventional oven preheated to 400 for 20 to 25 minutes. If baking in airfryer, bake at 375 for maximum 15 minutes.
  6. Glaze: ½ cup icing sugar and enough milk or water to make a thin glaze. Drizzle over cinnamon buns when out of muffin tins but still hot
