EXTRA FINE GRANULATED PURE CANE SUGAR BAG

3 ¼ cup all-purpose flour*

¼ teaspoon baking soda

1 ½ cups (3 sticks) unsalted butter, very soft

2 ½ cups Dixie Crystals Extra Fine Granulated Sugar

5 large eggs at room temperature

½ teaspoon salt

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

2 tablespoons orange zest, no white bitter pith

¾ cup orange juice

¼ cup light rum or more orange juice

note: poon & Sweep method: Use a spoon to fill measuring cup with flour until required amount is obtained. Scooping measuring cup directly into flour bag will firmly pack flour resulting in too much flour required for recipe.
