Braised Radish with Minced Meat
Ingredients
  • 1 radish, approximate 800g to 1kg, sliced into 0.5cm thickness
  • 500g minced pork/chicken/beef
  • 4   tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons sake
  • 2 tablespoons mirin
  • 1 tablespoon   sugar
  • ¼ thumb-sized ginger, minced
  • 250ml water/stock/dashi
  • ½   tablespoon   corn flour   + ¼ tablespoon water (cornstarch slurry)
  • Cooking oil
  • Salt and sugar to taste
  • Chopped spring onion for garnishing (optional)
