  • 1 ½ teaspoons pure vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs, at room temperature
  • 8 to 12 ounces (60% cacao) bittersweet chocolate, chopped in largish (¼ to ½ -inch) chunks (about 1 ⅓ to 2 cups chopped)
  • Flaky sea salt, for sprinkling (optional)
