  • ½ cup uncooked wild rice
  • 1 can red kidney beans, rinsed and drained
  • ⅔ cup walnuts, chopped
  • ¼ cup raisins, chopped
  • ¼ cup dried cranberries, chopped
  • 1 medium onion, diced fine
  • 2 tbsp milled flax seeds (with 3 tbsp hot water)
  • ½ cup gluten-free bread crumbs
  • 2 springs of fresh oregano
  • ½ tsp ground pepper or more to taste
  • 1 tsp sea salt or more to taste
  • ¼ tsp cayenne pepper
  • extra warm water
