Sous Vide Salmon Teriyaki

Ingredients
  • ¼ cup (2 fl. oz./60 ml) reduced-sodium soy sauce
  • 3 Tbs. sugar
  • ¼ tsp. finely grated fresh ginger
  • 1 small garlic clove, minced
  • 2 Tbs. mirin
  • ¼ tsp. cornstarch
  • 4 salmon fillets, each about 6 oz. (185 g)
  • 2 tsp. vegetable oil
  • ½ tsp. toasted sesame seeds
  • 1 green onion, thinly sliced on the bias
  • Steamed rice for serving
