  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ¼ cup water
  • ½ cup white wine
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 2 lb flank steak, cut crosswise against grain into 4 equal pieces
  • ¾ cup pitted green olives, sliced
  • 1 Tablespoon distilled white vinegar
