  • 750g chicken wings

  • 1 to 2 tsp dark soy sauce
  • 1 large onion, cut into strips
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 5 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 2-inch pc ginger, finely minced
  • 1 ½ Tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 ½ Tbsp Chinese cooking wine (optional)
  • ½ tsp black or white pepper
  • ~½ cup water
  • 1 to 2 green onions
  • A squeeze lemon or lime juice (optional)
  • Jasmine rice for serving
