  • ¼ cup water
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon granulated garlic (or onion powder, or 2 to 3 garlic cloves)
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano (or 2 teaspoons fresh)
  • optional: ¼ teaspoon chipotle powder or cayenne pepper (or smoked paprika for smoky flavor) more to taste.
