Roasted Green Beans and Carrots
Ingredients
  • 12 ounces green beans, ends trimmed and washed
  • 1 ½ pounds (24 ounces) whole carrots, sliced in half
  • 1 Tablespoons olive oil
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 Tablespoon honey
  • 3 Tablespoons butter
  • 6 to 8 cloves garlic, sliced thinly
  • 1 Tablespoon lemon juice
  • optional: fresh parmesan or lemon zest
