Ingredients
  • 17 ounces all purpose flour (4 cups, scoop and sweep) (482 g)
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 ½ teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 ½ teaspoons coarse Kosher salt
  • 2 ½ sticks unsalted butter room temperature (20 tablespoons)
  • 10 ounces light brown sugar (1 ¼ cups packed) (284 g)
  • 8 ounces granulated sugar (1 cup, plus 3 tablespoons) (227 g)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 12 oz bag white chocolate chips (342 g)
  • 1 cup macadamia nuts, coarsely chopped (5oz) (142 g)

  • For best results, use a kitchen scale to measure out the ingredients that have weights listed.

  • I used a 3-tablespoon cookie scoop and it produced 33 cookies. You can use a larger or smaller scoop, just adjust the baking time up or down by a few minutes.
