Taco Soup

Ingredients
  • ½ pound ground beef
  • ¼ cup onion, chopped
  • 1 package taco seasoning mix
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 (15 oz) can kidney beans
  • 1 (15 oz) can whole kernel corn
  • 1 (14.5 oz) can died tomatoes
  • Fritos or corn chips
Steps
  1. In large saucepan, brown ground beef with onion. Drain.
  2. Stir in seasoning mix and water.
  3. Draing kidney beans and corn. Add to mixture in pan.
  4. Mix in tomatoes. Simmer 20 minutes.
  5. To serve: Place corn chips in individual bowls. Add soup.
  6. Sprinkle or spoon on toppings, if desired.

  • Toppings:
  • Grated cheese
  • Sour Cream
  • Sliced avocado
  • Chopped tomatoes
  • Chopped green onion
  • Cilantro
  • Can also put all ingredients in crock pot on low and cook all day.
