  • 1 1⁄2 tablespoons  seasoned rice vinegar (Lite is fine)
  • 1  teaspoon  hot water
  • 1  teaspoon  lemon juice
  • 1  teaspoon  soy sauce
  • 1  tablespoon  sugar
  • 1  teaspoon  fresh ginger, peeled and grated
  • 1   garlic clove, minced
  • 4 (⅓ to ½lb)   cod fish fillets
  • 1⁄4 teaspoon  ground pepper or 1⁄4 teaspoon  red pepper flakes
