Ingredients
  • 8 pounds pork shoulder
  • 2 to 3 tablespoons Hawaiian sea salt
  • 2 to 3 tablespoons liquid smoke
  • Ti leaves
  • 1 cup of water
Steps
  1. Cut pork into small pieces
  2. Sprinkle on liquid smoke on each piece and massage it in
  3. Sprinkle on sea salt
  4. Place the pork into gallon size zip bag and put it in the fridge overnight for the best results
  5. The pork can be used right away
  6. Add 1 cup of water to your pot
  7. Layer in 2 to 3 ti leaves
  8. Put the pork on top
  9. Layer 2 to 3 ti leaves on top..tuck the leaves in
  10. Put the lid on the pot and set the knob to sealing
  11. Press the manual button then the minus button and set the cook time to 120 minutes
  12. After the cooking has finished allow the pressure to release naturally for 10 minutes then turn the knob to venting
Notes
  • Remove and discard the ti leaves
