Tangled: Rapunzel & Flynn Truffles
Ingredients
  • subheading: Truffle Filling:
  • 1 11-Oz. bag of white chocolate chips
  • ⅓ Cup heavy cream
  • 1 Tbsp butter
  • 1 Oz. freeze-dried strawberries or raspberries, finely crushed
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  •

  • ⅓ Cup melted dipping chocolate, in colors needed for each prince or princess
  • 2 Tbsp white icing, tinted in all the colors needed for each prince or princess
  • Sprinkles
  • Sparkly blue piping gel or edible pearl dust
Steps
  1. subheading: Truffle Filling:
  2. Place the white chocolate in a mixing bowl.
  3. In a small pot, gently warm the heavy cream and butter until almost boiling.
  4. Pour the heated cream over the chocolate, then stir until evenly melted.
  5. Mix in the crushed strawberries and lemon zest, then allow the mixture to set at room temperature.
  6. Scoop out 1 ½ Tbsp portions of the truffle “dough.”
  7. With the palms of your hands, roll each portion into a ball.
  8. Set aside.
  9. subheading: Rapunzel & Flynn Truffles:
  10. Dip one truffle ball in purple melted chocolate, and another in teal melted chocolate. Allow to set.
  11. Using tinted icing, pipe details onto the Rapunzel truffle using #1 (white lace), #2 (pink ribbon), and #16 (yellow hair) tips.
  12. Pipe details onto the Flynn Rider truffle with #44 (brown belt), and #2 (yellow button and buckle details) tips.
