Tasty Parsnip Fries

Ingredients
  • 2 lb parsnips peeled and cut in ½ inch thick fries
  • ¼ cup avocado or olive oil
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 tsp fine sea salt
  • 2 packages of Sazon seasoning
  • Coarse sea salt to taste
  •  
Steps
  1. Pre-heat oven to 425 degrees with large sheet pan(s) inside.
  2. Toss the cut parsnips with all ingredients except the coarse sea salt.
  3. Mix until all parsnips are well-coated.
  4. Spread the parsnips on the hot sheet pans (cover with wax paper for less mess) in ONE layer.
  5. Sprinkle with coarse sea salt.
  6. Bake for 20 minutes.
  7. Flip all the fries over and bake another 10 minutes or until nice and crisp.
Notes
  • Can use 2 to 4 Tsp of garlic powder and turmeric if you don’t have Sazon seasoning.
