Adaptogenic spiced golden milk

Ingredients
  • 1 cup milk, unsweetened (any pref)
  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon
  • ½ tsp ground turmeric
  • ¼ tsp ground ashwaganda
  • 2 pinches ground cardamom
  • 1 pinch ground ginger
  • 1 pinch ground nutmeg
  • A little bit of freshly ground pepper
  • 1 tsp ghee or coconut oil
  • 1 tsp raw honey
Steps
  1. Add everything except ghee and honey to a saucepan and heat just below a simmer on low heat.
  2. Whisk to break up clumps.
  3. Add ghee/oil and continue to warm till melted, then take off heat.
  4. Add honey (do not add while heating s as it will destroy the healing properties.)
  5. Put into mug, enjoy!
