Ingredients
  • 2 eggs
  • ½ cup milk
  • ½ cup water
  • ¼ tsp. salt
  • 2 to 2½ cups flour
  • ½ cup butter (melted)
Steps
  1. Beat eggs lightly then add milk and water.
  2. Add salt and flour to milk mixture.
  3. Fill spaetzle maker with dough over boiling water. Push, back and forth to let dough drop into water.
  4. Cook for about one minute, stirring to keep from sticking together.
  5. Drain and toss with melted butter.
Notes
  • Toss with spaghetti sauce and grated parmesan cheese.
  • Toss with ¾ cup warm sour cream and butter
  • Toss with butter and ½ cup crumbled crisp bacon bits (OVER)
  • Toss with ½ cup grated sharp cheddar cheese and soft butter.
  • Add to your favorite soup.
  • Fry in butter and mix with scrambled eggs.
