Ben Franklins Aka Tabouleh and Rezmi-Kebob Pitas
Ingredients
  • subheading: Garlic (flavour) Sauce:
  • ½ cip tahini
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • ½ tsp kosher salt
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • ¼ cup lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon parsley
  • subheading: Tabouleh:
  • 1 tabouleh kit (seasoned bulgur wheat)
  • ½ red onion finely diced
  • 5 oz fresh parsley
  • 1 field cucumber, diced
  • 2 roma tomatoes, diced
  • subheading: Kebab:
  • 800g boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into 2″ cubes
  • 1 tbsp zested ginger root
  • 2 large onions, chopped
  • ½ cup fresh, plain yogurt (I used greek)
  • ½ cup almonds
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • salt, pepper
  • olive oil
  • 1 to 2tbsp of the garlic sauce
  • kebar skewers
  • pita bread
