  • 4 Tbsp (60 ml) olive or grape seed oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced (2 Tbsp or 12 g)
  • 4 1/2 Tbsp (31 g) arrowroot starch*
  • 2 cups (480 ml) unsweetened plain almond milk, plus more as needed
  • Sea salt and pepper to taste (~1/4 tsp each)
  • 5 Tbsp (15 g) nutritional yeast, plus more to taste
  • 1/2 cup (40 g) vegan parmesan cheese , plus more for serving
