  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon active dry yeast
  • 1 large egg
  • 3 tablespoons oil
  • 2 to 2 and ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • ¼ cup salted butter, melted (for brushing)
  • 1 to 2 cloves garlic, smashed and minced (for topping)
  • chopped parsley, to garnish
