  • ¼ teaspoon table salt
  • 1 ounce tortilla chips, crushed coarse (½ cup)
  • 8 teaspoons vegetable oil, divided
  • Chipotle sauce
  • 6 hamburger buns, toasted if desired
  • 2 avocados, halved, pitted, and sliced thin
  • ½ cup pickled red onions
