Ingredients
  • 2 ½ lb. canned yams
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • ¾ stick margarine
  • 1 cup milk
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • subheading: Topping:
  • 1 stick margarine
  • ¾ cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup chopped pecans or walnuts
  • 1 ½ cups Cornflakes or 38 Ritz Crackers; crushed
Steps
  1. Beat together. Put in a 9X13 greased baking dish. Bake at 350°F for 35 to 40 minutes.
  2. Topping: Melt margarine and sugar and stir. Add nuts and flakes. Pour over baked casserole.
  3. Bake 15 minutes longer.
