New Orleans Instant Pot Shrimp Etouffee
Ingredients
  • 2 lbs shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 Tbsp Creole seasoning (divided)
  • 4 Tbsp butter
  • ¼ cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup onions, diced
  • 1 cup green bell peppers, diced
  • 1 cup celery, diced
  • 1 Tbsp garlic, minced
  • ¼ tsp white pepper
  • ½ tsp  black pepper
  • ½ tsp  dried thyme
  • ¼ tsp  salt (optional)
  • 2 cups seafood stock
  • 1 tsp worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp  lemon juice
  • 1 cup chopped tomatoes
  • 1 Tbsp tomato puree (optional)
  • 1 Tbsp sherry (optional) to finish
  • 2 Tbsp green onions (green parts only), sliced thinly
  • Chopped parsley to garnish
