Lamb, Mint and Potato Pies
Ingredients
  • ¼ cup plain flour
  • 750g lamb rump steaks, trimmed, cut into 2.5cm pieces
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 medium brown onion, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed
  • ⅔ cup fresh mint leaves, chopped or (50g dried)
  • Mutti Polpa Finely Chopped Tomatoes 400g
  • 1 cup Massel beef stock
  • 500g sebago potatoes, peeled, cubed
  • 2 sheets ready-rolled shortcrust pastry, partially thawed, halved diagonally
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • 1 sheet ready-rolled frozen puff pastry, partially thawed, quartered
  • 1 tsp cracked black pepper
