Broccoli Cheese Soup
It’s warm, filling, and tasty. It’s perfect for those times when you’re hankering for comfort food.

Ingredients
  • 2 cups broccoli florets, steamed
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cups water
  • ¼ cup heavy whipping cream
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup Cheddar cheese
  • Pepper, to taste
Steps
  1. Steam the broccoli florets till tender. Mix ½ cup of the broccoli, all the cream cheese, ½ cup of the water, and all the heavy cream in a blender until smooth.
  2. Pour this mixture into a pot or large saucepan. Add chicken broth, rest of broccoli, and rest of water and mix. Over medium heat, bring to a simmer.
  3. Once heated, add your Cheddar cheese and mix until melted and completely blended. Add pepper to taste.
