- 1 ½ lbs. Kielbasa cut diagonally into 2 inch chunks
- 1 32 ounce jar sauerkraut, drain half the liquid out
- 1 onion diced
- 3 cloves of garlic minced
- 1 T. Caraway Seeds
- ½ tsp. salt
- 6 small yellow or red potatoes(optional, you can also cook separately and fry them up with some bacon for a side)
- ½ tsp. ground pepper
- 3 large carrots peeled and cut into 2 inch pieces diagonally
- 1 apple, peeled, cored and diced
- 2 c. chicken broth
