Beef Short Ribs Curry Jamaican

Ingredients

  • 6 tablespoons curry powder
  • 4 teaspoons ground cumin
  • 3 teaspoon ground turmeric
  • 2 teaspoons smoked paprika
  • 2 teaspoons ground allspice
  • 6 onions, peeled and diced
  • 8 cloves garlic, peeled and diced
  • 3 Scotch bonnet chillies, sliced (if they are hard to find, try habaneros)
  • 4 bay leaves
  • 6 sprigs thyme
  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 5 cups beef stock

  • 3 cups cabbage, shredded
  •  
  • 2 carrots, finely grated
  •  
  • 2 habaneros/scotch, finely sliced
  •  
  • ⅓ cup lime juice
  •  
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  •  
  • 1.5 cups apple cider vinegar
