Chinese Sauce
Ingredients
  • It’s a Slimming World friendly one!
  • 1 onion chopped, 3 cloves crushed garlic, 1 inch piece ginger grated, 300g chopped butternut squash, 150g courgette chopped, tbsp soy sauce(I use tamari so it’s gluten free) 1 tbsp tomato purée, ½ to 1 tsp Chinese 5 spice, 2 to 3 tsp curry powder of your choice and 350ml stock.Sauté onions, squash and courgette, add garlic, ginger,spices and soy and cook for a minute or two then deglaze add tomato purée and cook for 8 minutes then QPR. Blitz smooth with a stick blender.
