Ingredients
  • 12 oz. canned mushrooms crowns
  • 3 slices bacon
  • 1 thin onion slice
  • 1 bread slice (torn into pieces)
  • dash Worcestershire sauce
  • salt
  • 1 tbsp. grated Parmesan
Steps
  1. Hollow out mushrooms, reserving the pieces.
  2. Fry bacon till crisp; drain, reserving drippings.
  3. Cook onion in drippings till tender.
  4. Put onion, bacon, ΒΌ-c. of the reserved mushroom pieces, bread, & Worcestershire into blender container; blend till chopped.
  5. Sprinkle inside of mushroom crowns with a little salt; then pile mushroom mixture into each.
  6. Arrange crowns on baking sheet & sprinkle with Parmesan.
  7. Broil with mushroom tops 3 to 4 in. from heat source till golden & hot.
  8. Serve immediately.
