Sheet Pan Beef and Broccoli (Aip, Soy-Free)
Ingredients
  • 1lb piece of beef, sliced into strips - my favorite cut of beef to use for this dish is flat iron steak. I cut the slices about ½ inch wide and 1 inch long. You can use any type of beef you like here. I have also made this dish using ground beef!
  • Broccoli - don’t throw out the stems! They’re delicious in this recipe and a great way to get some extra fibre in.
  • Mushrooms - cremini or button mushrooms work well, but so would portobellos chopped into small chunks
  • subheading: FOR THE MARINADE:
  • olive oil - avocado oil is a great substitute here.
  • coconut aminos - this allergy-friendly, soy free and gluten-free substitute for soy sauce adds delicious flavor to this dish
  • cilantro - for ultimate ease, use both the leaves and the stems.
  • chives - green onions work well here too!
  • fresh garlic - peel and toss the whole cloves into the food processor. If you’re using pre-minced garlic, you’ll need about 1.5 tsps.
  • fresh ginger - a 1 inch piece, peeled.
  • sea salt
