Candied Pecans
Cinnamon and sugar glazed pecans
Ingredients
  • 1 lb pecan halves
  • 1 egg white
  • 1 tbsp cold water
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon
Steps
  1. Heat oven to 250°F
  2. Mix sugar, salt and cinnamon and set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk egg white and water until foamy. Add pecans and stir to coat.
  4. Pour sugar mixture over pecans and stir.
  5. Pour pecans onto cookie sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Bake at 250°F for 45 min-1hr, stirring every 15 min. When done the glaze will be mostly dry.
Notes
  • I usually double the recipe.
  • You can substitute for 16-18oz of mini pretzels. If you use pretzels, omit the salt.
