Brown and Wild Rice Pilaf with Dried Cherries and Scallions
Ingredients
  • ¾ cup wild rice
  • 1 cup brown basmati rice
  • 4 ¼ cups chicken or vegetable stock
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup dried cherries
  • 5 green onions trimmed then thinly sliced
  • ¼ cup fresh cilantro can substitute parsley if you are averse to cilantro, roughly chopped
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley roughly chopped
  • ½ of a fresh jalapeno stem and seeds removed, finely diced
