Ingredients
- ½ cup sugar
- ½ cup brown sugar
- ½ cup peanut butter
- ¼ cup shortening
- ¼ cup butter
- 1 egg
- 1 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
- ¾ teaspoon baking soda
- ½ teaspoon baking powder
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- If using self-rising flour as I did eliminate the baking soda, baking powder and the salt.
- Bake on ungreased cookie sheet 3 " apart at 375 degrees for 9 to 12 minutes.
