Ingredients
  • 1 lb grass-fed ground beef or pastured ground pork
  • 1 pastured egg
  • 1 tsp organic all-purpose seasoning
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • ¼ cup friendly fat to cook in (butter, coconut oi, pastured lard, pastured tallow)
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 medium carrots, chopped
  • 2 stalks celery, chopped
  • ½ small head cabbage, sliced thin
  • 3 large cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 ½ TB organic tomato paste
  • 1 - 15oz can organic diced tomatoes
  • 1 ½ quarts beef stock (Preferably homemade for more nutrients. Could use chicken stock. Either way really watch ingredients if going with store-bought.)
  • 2 tsp organic Italian seasoning
  • Sea salt/pepper to taste
