  • 3 cloves garlic, finely chopped or grated
  • subheading: for the sweet & sour sauce:
  • ⅓ cup packed brown sugar (dark brown sugar, if available)
  • ¼ cup rice wine vinegar
  • 3 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons soy sauce (sub tamari if gluten-free)
