This classic hummus recipe from scratch is a delicious mix of fresh ingredients that make for a healthy snack. It’s a yummy dip for your favorite array of veggies, and also doubles as a delicious spread on sandwiches and wraps.
Ingredients
  • 1 (15 oz. can) chickpeas, drained and liquid reserved (about 4 tablespoons)
  • 4 tablespoons tahini
  • 2 ½ tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil, plus more for serving if desired
  • 1 medium garlic clove
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cumin
  • salt to taste
  • paprika for serving
