  • 2 cups (454g) milk, warm (105°F to 115°F)
  • 2 tablespoons (27g) vegetable oil
  • 2 teaspoons table salt
  • 6 to 7 ½ cups (720g to 900g) King Arthur Unbleached All-Purpose Flour*
  • 1 large egg, beaten with 1 tablespoon water (egg wash)
  • sesame seeds, poppy seeds, caraway seeds, or coarse salt, optional
