Easy Shepard's Pie

Ingredients
  • 1½ lb ground beef
  • 3 lbs russet potatoes
  • ¼ cup butter
  • ¼ cup milk
  • ½ tsp ground thyme
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • 19 oz bag steam fresh mixed veggies (frozen)
  • 2 12oz jars Heinz Home Style beef gravy
  • paprika
Steps
  1. Peel and quarter potatoes and cook in instant pot (use basket and/or trivet to keep potatoes out of the water) with 1 cup water on high for 13 minutes, then quick release. Mash with butter and milk. Add salt and pepper if desired.
  2. Cook ground beef. Drain grease. Add gravy, onion powder, and thyme. Mix well. Stir in frozen veggies.
  3. Spread meat/veggie mix in greased 9x13 pan. Spread potatoes in layer over the top. Sprinkle with paprika.
  4. Bake at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes.
