Yellow Rice with Green Peas, Almonds & Raisins
Ingredients
  • 1 ½ Cups Brown Rice
  • 3 Cups Stock (try this homemade stock) or Water
  • 1 Cup Yellow Onion, chopped
  • 1 Cup Frozen Green Peas, thawed
  • ½ Cup Almonds, chopped or silvered
  • ½ Cup Raisins
  • 2 Tbsp Garlic, minced
  • 1 Tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 Tsp Turmeric
  • ½ Tsp Dried Thyme
  • Salt, black pepper and red pepper flakes to taste
