Ingredients
- 1½ pound venison ½in cubes
- ½ pound smoked sausage ½in cubes
- 2 Tbs oil
- ½c chopped onion
- ½c chopped celery
- 2 28oz whole tomatoes undrained and chopped
- 1 12oz can beer
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp fresh or dried rosemary
- ¾tsp freshly ground pepper
- 2 carrots diced
- 2 med baking potatoes chopped
Steps
- Brown meats in oil. Add onion and celery. Cook 5 minutes or until tender. Add tomatoes and next 5 ingredients and cover. Reduce heat and simmer 30 minutes. Add carrot and cook uncovered 30 minutes. Add potatoes and cook uncovered 25 more minutes or until meat is very tender.
