GINGERBREAD SLICE
Ingredients
  • 1 cup of oats
  • 1 cup of almond milk
  • 1 cup/8 to 9 medjool dates
  • ½ cup pecans
  • ½ cup flaked almonds
  • 1 tsp ginger
  • ½ tsp nutmeg
  • ½ tsp baking powder
Steps
  1. Blend the dates, almonds and flaked almonds in a food processor for a few minutes, until the mixture forms a ball.
  2. Add this to a jug, along with the oats, milk, baking powder and flavourings.
  3. Stir together until all ingredients are combined.
  4. Divide the oatmeal between two small trays and bake in the oven for 20 minutes until the top is golden.
