1 Thai chilli

3 spring onions

1 tsp Chinese five spice

1 tsp gochujaru (red chilli powder)

subheading: For the marinade:

1 tbsp mirin

1 tbsp light soy sauce

1 tsp rice vinegar

1 nori sheet broken up

1 tsp white pepper

subheading: For the dry batter:

3 tbsp corn starch

4 tbsp rice flour

1 tsp salt

1 tsp white pepper

Vegetable oil for frying
