Crispy Vietnamese Fried Tofu & Spicy Tomato Sauce
Ingredients
  • 350g (12 oz) Extra Firm Tofu
  • 3 Garlic Cloves
  • 15g (½ Thumb Sized Piece) Ginger
  • 50g (⅓ Cup) Shallots
  • 2 Thai Birds Eye Chilli Peppers
  • 250g (2 to 3 Small-Medium) Tomatoes
  • 3 Spring Onions
  • 2 Tsp Sugar
  • 2 Tbsp Light Soy Sauce or vegan fish sauce
  • 1 Tsp Black Pepper
  • Pinch of MSG (Optional)
  • 125ml (½ Cup) Water
  • Fresh Coriander
  • Oil for frying
