  • 1 cup (240 ml) whole milk
  • ½ cup (120 ml) hot tap water
  • 2 quarts (1.89L) water
  • 2 tablespoons ( 28 g) baking soda
  • 1 egg white, whisked until frothy
  • Pretzel salt or coarse kosher salt
  • 6 tablespoons ( 90 ml) melted butter
