With green onions, jalapeños, and cilantro, this is a pretty classic salsa recipe—except that shredded cabbage takes the place of tomatoes as the main ingredient. Paired with baked chips, this appetizer alternative is filled with bone- and blood-protecting vitamin K.
Ingredients
  • 1 (10 ounce) bag angel hair shredded cabbage, chopped
  • 1 (4 ounce) can diced green chiles
  • 1 roma tomato, seeded and finely chopped
  • 1 green onion, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh jalapeno, seeded, finely diced
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
